This page is to document and encourage my weight loss journey. I've been overweight for 20 years now and am tired of it. My goal in posting this site is to force myself to continue with the program by having virtual accountability partners. I will post updates each Friday which will include various metrics. My weekly goal is progress measured in at least one of these ways:
A decrease in overall weight
A decrease in the weight of fat
A decrease in chest or stomach measurements
My initial overall goal is a body weight of 220 lbs.
As an additional encouragement, I will donate $50 to a charity that I don't particularly like (but isn't intrinsically immoral) like the Jesuits for each week that I fail to meet at least one of those goals. *I do reserve the right to take off individual weeks, never back-to-back, for certain occasions like Thanksgiving or Christmas. In that case, I will still commit to meeting one of those goals for the 2-week period.*
